Adi Radlan studied in the prestigious Malay College Kuala Kangsar and subsequently selected to do Matriculation in the Oxbridge programme. However, he had chosen to study law under full government scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the International Islamic University in 1992. He was called to the Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya on 15th April 1993.
Being a debator and orator in secondary and university days, it is natural to devote his entire time from his entry to the Bar to the area civil and commercial litigation.
Presently, Adi Radlan specializes in niche litigation in the area of banking and corporate finance, contractual anomalies and disputes, tort and damages, derivative actions, winding-up proceedings, and to a lesser extent, criminal litigation.
There have been more than five (5) briefs handled by Adi Radlan transcribed in the leading law reports of Malaysia running the gamut of the law on injunctions and equitable remedies, law of contract, land law and law on divorce and matrimonial proceedings. They include the oft-quoted Court of Appeal case of Insun Development Sdn. Bhd. v. Xavier Kang Yoon Mook.
His noteworthy clients include a number of listed Groups of Companies in Malaysia and several associate companies of Singapore-listed groups of corporations. He has also been often requested by other legal firms to advise as counsel on litigious commercial and contractual anomalies.
Syaida Nurin Lee binti Abdullah @ Lee Ling Chui
Syaida Lee graduated from University of East Anglia, England in 1992 with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and was called as an utter barrister to the honorable society of Gray’s Inn, London. Upon her return to Malaysia, she was admitted to the Bar as an advocate & solicitor of the High Court in Malaya on the 8th November 1994. In 1996, she proceeded to complete a postgraduate course of Diploma in Chinese and International Business Law from the National University of Singapore. She specializes on corporate finance advisory and corporate/commercial banking and security documentation.
Aside from that, Syaida advises on matters that relate to companies and has considerable experience in areas of listing requirements, investment laws, privatisation and joint ventures and framing of shareholders’ agreements.
All her time in practice has been exclusively devoted to corporate and commercial matters.
